Pawrents learned how to keep their pets healthy and happy during the recent Bayer Summer Doggiefest 2017.
The event, held at the Town Plaza of the Alabang Town Center in Muntinlupa City, was part of the company’s advocacy to support animal wellbeing. Hundreds of pawrents participated in this special play and care day where they learned more about responsible pet ownership. Representatives from Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA) Welfare Philippines and Royal Canin Philippines also graced the event, giving a special talk on therapy dogs and how pawrents can prepare their fur-babies for the healthiest start in life. Ezydog Philippines provided fun games and freebies for the pawrents.
“This event is our way of helping pawrents gain confidence in caring for their dogs, and also letting them have a day of fun together. Bayer talks on Pet Wellness covering nutrition, exercise, hygiene, and disease management were provided by Dr. Lester Louis Lopez, followed by another talk from Dr. Jomer Fule which featured the Bayer Pet Care regimen for grooming using Bayopet herbal product lines, and basic parasite control using Advantix and Kiltix. The Bayer Pet Care Regimen is designed to help pawrents show their dogs love by providing the best care there is with four simple steps repeated monthly.
First, bathe your dog with Bayopet (Coumaphos) Dog Soap) to kill and control ticks, fleas, and lice. Second, apply Advantix (Imidacloprid and Permethrin)Spot On to protect your dog from ticks, fleas, and mosquitoes. Third, for succeeding baths, use Bayopet Herbal Line to leave your dog’s coat clean, shiny, and smelling fresh. Finally, for added protection, use the Kiltix (Propoxur + Flumethrin) Collar for long walks and travel.
