Danielle Eden visited a dog shelter in Israel to hopefully rescue one dog. However, seeing the desperate eyes of the dogs made choosing only one or two a hard challenge.
Eden, a co-founder of Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary, which is an animal rescue center in Ontario, Canada, decided to pick all those in the sanctuary instead. All 250 of them.
What made Eden rescue all of them?
The shelter in Israel was the worst shelter she had ever seen according to a report by Wildchild.com. All 250 dogs were living in rat-infested kennels that were originally designed for only 70 animals. When she went there, all dogs were filthy and have been fighting over the left-over foods.
She bought the entire shelter and relocated 90 dogs within Israel, while 25 were taken to Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary in Canada.
Dog Tales Rescue and Sanctuary is a dog rescue and horse sanctuary founded in 2014 by a couple who has been involved in animal rescues for years.
