Visitors to the event and exhibit included San Fernando, Pampanga Mayor Edwin Santiago and some of the respected personalities in the fancy pigeon hobby. It was a pleasant surprise for organizers to discover that locals considered their event highly interesting, and that the mayor saw its potential for attracting local tourism as an annual event in the city fiesta’s week-long celebrations.
